Consumers are not pleased with Billing Practices and Customer service. The price level of this organization is high according to consumer reviews.
I did not agree to subscribing to this service
I got charged for this service, which I did not agree to. I was having problems with my computer, and this kept popping up on my system. These kinds of practices with these pop-ups should not be allowed where the consumer is unknowingly charged.

There were two false charges made by Gen Digital Inc to my PayPal account on 09/18/25. One for $100.99; the other for $99.99.
Gen Digital is impossible to contact. Even PayPal has a 'no-reply' email for them that you cannot send to. I never received these products and/or never authorized an auto-renewal. If you go to the Better Business Bureau website for the Pacific Southwest, you will find a long list of customers who experienced the same thing I did: false charges for canceled subscriptions.
This is Gen Digital's standard operating procedure, and they are likely making millions by falsely charging people. I am and have been requesting PayPal to refund these charges. I have been a PayPal customer for over 25 years, and I have never had a problem like this with PayPal. Somewhere here on the site, it states the case might not be resolved until December.
That is way too long to remedy this situation. I, again, request these two refunds post haste.

I did not intend to have auto payments taken. One was done on My 14/25 and another on Oct.7/25. I want a refund for this last payment taken.

I have a "recurring" subscription charge of $85.59 on my PayPal account I don't recall authorizing!!
I did do a "trial" BUT then CANCELLED within 3 days!!!
I thought that was ALL I had to do!!!

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. Keep contacting the company. I kept sending them emails in large print and in red.
This company charged my Pay Pal account without my knowledge or consent. I'm trying to contact them for a refund but their website just keeps asking the same questions and never connects me to a place where I can actually talk to someone or leave a message that I did not ok this purchase and want a full refund.
What a way to run a business!
No support for issues
Purchased a 2 yr anti virus program for my desktop, I cannot use it my computer is too old, it runs windows 7. Trying to get help rectifying this problem is non existent.
All I wanted to do was cancel a subscription minutes after realizing my errornot happening.
Terrible company to deal with. Shame on them.

I do appreciate that and would like to confirm that I would like to proceed with that refund. My letter states it was answered by NAM Advancement Agent.which asked me to confirm if I wished to proceed with the refund, which I would like to do.Thank You.

The person on the phone explained to me that I am using free services (with my computer, I'm assuming) that are not free anymore. (The subscription ran out.) I have absolutely no idea what services I am even using that warrant a $560.00 fee.
I would have absolutely never agreed to that. I have now been on the phone with support for over 40 minutes trying to cancel. This is the most complicated and long process, and now they're saying they have to call me back tomorrow morning. He even asked if I had a credit card at one point.
This seems like a scam. I would show photos, but I honestly don't know what is going on, and my customer ID is there.

I have been a Norton user for many years and suddenly my Norton Ikon disappeared with no explanation or clear doable instructions on how to get it back so I can have browsing protection and save my Word and Excel documents. Perhaps it is unfortunately time to go elsewhere

Need to make decision on how to proceed or not with Norton.
I look forward to a response on how to get my Norton back on my computer because it was useful. And after using it successfully many past years with great satisfaction it is now not available on my computer to use.
And instead get messages that want me to obtain and pay continually for Norton system upgrades.
Unauthorized credit card charges

My name is Oleg Perkel. I have received my credit card statement with two charges: 11/10 PAYPAL AVAST $84.92 and 11/15 PAYPAL AVAST $71.85.
I have not authorized any charges. It's illegal to charge my credit card without my permission.

Poor service
My Norton subscription was cancelled without any reason, and I have not been refunded my annual subscription. I have called Norton 4 times, and I am unable to get any further than the operator!

I got an unsolicited invoice from Norton for $616,74 for a 5 year contract. To the best of my knowledge I have not been in touch with Norton for over 20 years.
When I attempted to have this contract cancelled I was given a runaround. When I contacted GenDigital I was refereed to and pay for advice website.
I find this kind of behavior to be extremely unprofessional. Particularly for a company in the security business.
Preferred solution: Cancel bogus contract and never contact me again

We sent an Arbitration Letter so far they have not even responded
My secretary and advocates has been constantly calling and emailing them, and I have been faxing them. They are deceiving and dishonest , and should be sanctioned for fraud
Basically they have not protected their clients against Cyber crime, medical fraud, and identity theft . They ignore my staff and secretaries.

Email from Norton claiming that I owed them $616.74 for a 5 year contract. I have not signed up with them.
I have had no contact with Norton in over 20 years. When I attempted to contact hem to fix this I was sent to a pay for answers site.
I find this reflects very poorly on the company and their business ethics. Particularly a company involved in the security business.
Preferred solution: cancel the alleged contract and never contact me again
